Ajith David Billa Movie Review 2.5/5

Name Of the movie: David Billa,
Producer: Shoba rani,
Director:Chakri Toleti,
Music: Yuvan Shankar raj,
Cast: Ajith, Parvathi Oman kuttan, Bruna, Prabhu.

Introduction
The movie made with a fat budget. The entire fans of Ajith in Tamilnadu have been awaiting the release. The movie has been postponing its release date for a long time. Most of the shooting and post production work was taken place in Hollywood. The movie was released finally with 1200 theatres worldwide in Telugu and Tamil. Ajith is the only known actor to the Telugu audience.

The story
Ajith is a Tamil refugee and stays in the refugee camp in India. Due to their bad treatment he fought with them. Finally he resorted to crime and becomes an efficient criminal to do anything with his narrow astute intelligence. The crime world king Abbasi ( Sudhanshu Pandey) calls on him and gives him a challenging work. Ajith made it in an easy way. The relation continues since Ajith is a capable man for impossibilities. But his capability gradually make him independent Don and popular in the crime world. That made Abbasi his opponent.

There is a love story between Bruna and Ajith amuse seductive scenes but not extraordinary. The real heroin of Ajith is Jasmin that is Parvathi Oman Kuttan who has to take the audience to other world is just below the expectations. In fact the director didn’t use her well. In the mean course an arms dealer Dimitri (Jamal) happens to visit India. Every party including Abbasi and Ajith meets him and the final conflict comes into picture what happens next is to better watch on the screen.

Analysis
The story line is completely an old. The modern stuff is like a borrowed idea of Billa. The making style is extremely rich and polished. The novelty is nothing but making. The story fails to bring any unexpected twists or turns. The lavish expenditure fails to make a novel movie. The director perhaps likes to make a bond film. The opening of the movie reminds us including the titles. The first half is boring. The real story begins before interval bang.

Performances
The part played by Ajith is unique. His performance is apt. He is just exact for the character. His active crime scenes will surely amuse the audience. He is ultimate in the movie.

Subhanshu Pandey has delivered the best. Some of the scenes he reminds our Satyanaraya. Vidyuth jamal as dimitri is okay. Bruna is the ultimate seductive weapon. But she was just used for item number. She did well up to her character.

Parvathi Omankutti as Jasmin is beautiful. She has done well and she is also used as a seductive instrument.

Technicalities
The cinematography is accurate and outstanding. The beauty is filled with just photography. The editing is extraordinary. Every scene is with beauty because of editing. Screenplay failed and the picturing of simple scenes too failed. The majority of the scenes are worthless as there is no feel. The locations are amazingly beautiful. The dialogues are just simple and weak at some places. The music of Yuvan Shankar Raj is okay. The BG is ultimate and the songs are just okay.

Verdict
The director chose a very good point to exploit. A poor young man who was looked down turning a don is really a good point but Chakri Toleti failed to do justice. Unlike the first part of the movie Billa the movie is not very much amusing.
