Mahesh Dookudu Bags Seven Awards Of CineMAA Awards 2012

Prince Mahesh Babu’s 2011 blockbuster movie Dookudu won the CineMAA Awards 2012. The CineMAA Awards for the year 2012 were announced at the HICC Novotel, Hyderabad on Sunday evening, June 17. The event celebrates in the presence of top celebrities in Telugu industry like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Kamal Hassan, k Raghvendra Rao, Allu Arvind, SP Balasubramanyam, Nayantara, Tamanna, Shriya Sharan, Shruti Hassan and many others.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna hand over the best Actor Award to Prince Mahesh Babu for his performance in Dookudu. Legendary Kamal Hassan gave away the Best Debut Actress Award to Shruti Hassan for her acting prowess and alluring beauty in the flick ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’. Sreenu Vitla won the best director award for the movie Dookudu. The film has also bagged other awards like Best Cinematographer, Best Villain, Best Comedian and Best Comedian (Jury). The action comedy film Dookudu has grabbed seven coveted awards at the awards ceremony held on Sunday evening.

Director K Ragavendra Rao received life time achievement award for his contribution for Telugu cinema. Nayanathara has won the best actress award for her natural performance in 'Sri Ramarajyam'.
