Story : Brahmi Gadi Katha Story:
Siva (Varun Sandesh), a final year engineering student, is on his way to Hyderabad on train, when he meets a rather confused girl – Maya (Asmitha Sood), who is being chased by goons. Siva helps her, buys her a ticket and finds her gone in the morning by the time he reaches Hyderabad. He meets his rich uncle and wannabe film producer, (Jai Prakash Reddy) and his daughter - Bhagya (Poonam Kaur), with whom his parents foresee a marriage as soon as he completes his studies. Taken aback by all this Siva goes out with his friend Pandu (Krishnudu). It is around the same time when popular director Brammi (Brahmanandam) arrives to the producer’s house to narrate a story. It seems Brammi’s story comes alive – with Siva, and it doesn’t take long before the producer finds this out. Worried that his future son-in-law is running away with some other girl, he orders his men to follow them, while he sits down with the story teller to see the end of the story! For Siva, though, nothing seems to be falling in place, as all he can manage to do is run from goons, run from his uncle’s men along with Maya. Everything seems to be as confused and as funny till Brammi, without realizing that his story has come alive, says that the girl Maya, is not what she seems to be and that she has indeed committed a murder! How does the producer react to this, will Siva be able to find who Maya actually is, and what is the girl’s story, form the rest of the story.
The director, Eswar Reddy, binds his audience to their seats by infusing into his film a healthy dose of humour, and by draping over it a flimsy cover of suspense. The rotund frame of Krishnudu is exploited to tickle the viewers, and Bramhanandam himself draws a few laughs - a noteworthy deed, considering his failure to do the same in quite a few recent films.
The lyricists have written songs that may make an appearance at singing-and-dancing reality shows. However, the background track that accompanies the narrative during the initial hour of the film has an effect similar to that of the scraping of fingernails against a blackboard.
